Monday through Friday
6:30 AM - 7:30 AM: CrossFit (Fitness/Performance Tracks)
7:30 AM - 8:30 AM: CrossFit (Fitness/Performance Tracks)
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM: CrossFit (Fitness/Performance Tracks)
9:30 AM - 3:30 PM: Personal Training
3:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Open Gym
5:00 PM- 6:00 PM: CrossFit (Fitness/Performance Tracks)
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: CrossFit (Fitness/Performance Tracks)
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Open Gym
Closed (Because everyone needs a rest day!)
This class lasts for one hour with the following format. The exact timing and format is adjusted each day to support the primary Workout of the Day (WOD). Here's an example:
Warm up (5 minutes): EVERYONE: run 3 laps / 2 bear crawls length of the gym
Track work (15 minutes): FITNESS: Sled drag / shuttle runs X 4 ; PERFORMANCE: Clean & Jerks - 2 reps working to max
WOD (20 minutes): FITNESS: 21 / 15 / 9 : burpees / heavy kettelbell swings; PERFORMANCE: 21 / 15 / 9 : burpees / power cleans
Cool down (5 minutes): EVERYONE: 1 lap slow jog / 1 lap walking / roller mobility
The goal of Open Gym is to give athletes time to work on accessory work, personal goals, learn and practice new skills, or make up a workout from earlier in the week that they missed.
The goal of Personal Training is working directly with an athlete one-on-one for specific goals and objectives that cannot be met during regular classes or Open Gym.
To help athletes meet their goals better, CrossFit Chiang Mai offers "Tracks" in each class. The class format is the same, and different movements for each track will be written on the whiteboard for each class.
Focus on Olympic lifting, strength work, high skill CrossFit movements. The PERFORMANCE track is if you want to do Olympic weightlifting, higher skill CrossFit movements like muscle ups, double unders, etc. If you want to do this track and don't yet know how to do the movements or skills, come to Open Gym for instruction from one of our coaches, or schedule Personal Training.
Focus on conditioning, metabolic / cardio work, supplemented with barbells for strength. The FITNESS track is for you want to focus primarily on conditioning and general fitness. There will still be weightlifting 2-3 times a week, but the focus is on general fitness
CrossFit classes are personal training in a group setting. We're not going to give you a 5 minute introduction to the gym and leave you to figure it our yourself. Every class includes one-on-one time, group instruction, and the advantage of working out with a team — you'll push yourself harder and have more fun!
Membership = 3,000 / month (3 months in advance = 8,000 / 6 months in advance = 15,000)
Teachers/Families/NGO Employee = 2,700 / month (3 months in advance = 7,200 / 6 months in advance = 13,500). Family discount is only applicable when 2 or more family members have active memberships.
Teens = 1,500 / month.
Drop ins: If you are an experienced CrossFitter, we offer a drop in rate of 500 B per day. We also offer a 1 week drop in rate of 1,200 B. If you're in town for more than 2 weeks, we recommend a month unlimited. Please contact us in advance (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Personal Training/Individual Coaching: We also are available for one-on-one coaching outside of class hours to work on specific issues or goals. Let an instructor know if you are interested. Rates vary per coach.
