The Scope and Sequence of this course includes the teaching progressions of the Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and all associated movements. Participants will gain knowledge and experience of programming of training for both competitive weightlifters and for athletes using the weightlifting movements for strength and power development as it applies to their chosen sport. Cost: $499 (NOTE: To register, first join USAW and then register for the course.)

Instructor: Mark Cannella: Mark Cannella is the President and the Head Coach of Columbus Weightlifting in Columbus, Ohio. He has been a part of the lifting community as an athlete, coach, administrator, and official for over 29 years. His coaching highlights include an Olympian, two World Team members, a National Champion and multiple lifters in the top ten at Nationals; Multiple National-Level Lifters and Ohio State Record Holders; Team Manager and Coach for multiple International competitions; and Director of the Arnold Weightlifting Championships.
